SABICO FARMS (SL) LIMITED was established in 2020 in Freetown, Sierra Leone, when the CEO, Sabaina Kandeh, saw an unmet need in the agriculture sector while visiting her family in Freetown. Sabaina decided to create a company that aims to boost food security and create employment opportunities for youth and women in Sierra Leone. SABICO FARMS (SL) LIMITED currently has over 50 employees and 4 farms in Sierra Leone with a combined acreage spanning over 1,000 acres located in Moyamba District and Port Loko District and plans to acquire more land very soon so the company can expand even farther.
